Delivered Catering is the University’s official catering delivery service offering quality assured food and a bespoke service conveniently delivered to your choice of venue. Our friendly food service team will take every measure to ensure your delivery arrives on time and in pristine condition.

Booking information

Bookings should be made no less than two full working days in advance. For example by the end of Monday for Thursday or Wednesday for Monday. In special circumstances we may be able to help in a shorter time frame, but please speak directly to a member of our team who will be able to advise on an individual basis.

When using the online booking facility please note that all existing bookable rooms at Boldrewood Campus, Science Park and SGH can be found under the Highfield Campus booking menu.

Normal delivery times: Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 6:00pm.

For deliveries outside of these times, please contact the catering office.

What is a round of sandwiches?

A round of sandwiches constitutes for two slices of bread with a filling cut into four.

How many servings do you get from a bottle of mineral water or juice?

Our recomendation is six.

I would like crockery with my delivery. How do I go about this?

When you place your order there will be an option to request this under 'Service Requirements'.  Please enter the quantity you need (we charge 50p per person) and we will provide the service ware appropriate to your catering order.

Please note you will receive disposable crockery as standard with all deliveries unless crockery has been requested.

How do I cancel my booking?

To cancel a booking more than 2 working days in advance please use the online booking system to remove your booking or email

Please note any cancellations with less than 48 hours’ notice may incur the full charge.

I need to place a last minute order. Will this be okay?

We do our very best to cater for any last minute orders. However, there are occasions when we need to allow time for the chefs to order or prepare particular items. This means that we cannot guarantee the availabilty of our full product range if an order is made with less than 48 hours’ notice.

I would like an evening or weekend delivery, is this possible?

Evening and weekend deliveries are treated on an individual basis.

Can I book a member of staff to service my event?

We no longer provide serving staff through our delivered catering service. If you are planning an event which requires a little more detail than catering please contact the hospitality team at who offer a full event booking service.

I am external to the University and don’t have an account code, can I still place an order?

Our service is provided for internal customers only. If you do not have an account code please contact the office to discuss your options.

When could we expect our items be collected?

Items will be collected by a member of the Delivery team within 24 hours of your event. If your items have not been collected, please contact us on 02380594570

I have a delegate with a specific dietary requirements. How can I order something suitable?

We have a great selection of Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten Free, Halal meals available to order. However if you feel that you need further help or advice please add a note to the comments box (at the end of the order process) and we will recommend something suitable for the delegates needs.

Can I order more than one delivery at one time?

Of course, you can set up your delivery slots so you can order multiple deliveries in one day.
