Food Allergen Information

Campus Kitchen is committed to helping customers make informed dietary choices. All allergy information is available at point of sale – either on our menus or clearly labelled on the product if packaged. All of our staff are trained to provide allergen information regarding the food we serve so if you have a question, please do not hesitate to ask.

Current legislation requires us to inform customers of the presence of any of the 14 ‘major allergens’ that are in food for direct sale, these are listed below:

CELERY, Cereals containing GLUTEN, CRUSTACEANS, EGGS, FISH, LUPIN, MILK, MOLLUSCS, MUSTARD, NUTS, PEANUTS, SESAME SEEDS, SOYA, SULPHUR DIOXIDE

In adherence to Natasha’s Law, all prepacked foods (food put into packaging before being placed on sale) contain an ingredient list which highlight the presence of any of the 14 major allergens. For all non-prepacked food, information of the 14 major allergens contained within the food is provided either orally or in writing – predominantly in writing either on the menu or by label.

For our delivered catering customers, allergen information – to include the presence of any of the 14 ‘major allergens’ can be found on our brochure and online booking system so an informed choice can be made prior to ordering.

We apply strict control measures onsite in our kitchens in order to reduce the risk of allergen cross-contamination. However, please be aware that the kitchens do handle food containing all 14 major allergens so we are unable to guarantee the prevention of allergen contamination. Our team are trained in applying allergen cross-contamination control measures and will be able to assist you in making safe food choices.
